電控馬達(integrated motor drive)就一將馬達與驅動器結合為一體的馬達,其主要優點是簡化了馬達的使用,系統工程師在選擇適當的電控馬達後,不需要再去選擇一個配合的驅動器。由於驅動器的設計能夠完全配合所連接馬達,因此能夠充分發揮馬達的效能。 

This integrated motor drive is designed to conserve space and extend motor life. The inverter in the IMD line conserves space by moving the inverter from the control cabinet to the motor. It is integrated into the end of the motor, changing only the length of the motor and leaving the standard frame unaffected. Eliminating long wire runs from the controller improves power quality to the motor and minimizes heat generation. Motors are available from 1/2 hp to 5 hp and in frame sizes from 48T to 184T. Input voltages include 115VAC, 200-230VAC and 380-460VAC in one- or three- phase configurations. An optional custom backlit LCD display shows speed, RPMs, amps and % load. Motors are UL and cUL listed.

電控馬達的優點

節省空間:將驅動器與馬達結合,仍能符合馬達既有的框架規格,可節省控制箱的空間。

配線簡單:大幅簡化了傳統上馬達、感測元件、驅動器、與控制系統之間的配線。

提高效率:馬達與驅動器的一體化設計,必須將總體的熱損失降至最低,因此能夠有效的提升效率。

延長壽命:去除了馬達與驅動器間的電力線,有效的降低了電力線的雜散電感,可有效降低傳統高頻PWM變頻器因導線電感所產生的軸承電流(balling current),因而得以延長馬達的使用壽命。 

內裝式風扇設計,可同時兼顧馬達與驅動器的散熱。

電控馬達的應用

Where would I use an IMD?
Just about anywhere that a standard motor is used. The IMD is ideal for use on conveyors, pumps, fans, mixers or any application where an inverter - motor combination is used.
My application is in a dirty environment, how will the IMD survive?
The motor part of the IMD is TENV - Totally Enclosed, Non Ventilated. The inverter section meets NEMA 12 specifications. Normal dust, dirt and splashing from water or oil will not affect the IMD.
I need to run my application at a very low speed, can the IMD handle this?
Yes. The IMD can run at continuous full load down to at least 3 Hz, or a 20:1 speed range. In RPM this equates to full torque down to 90 RPM.
